How It Works
How to Book Get Gospel – Your Complete Guide
If you’re thinking about booking Get Gospel for your event, you’re probably wondering about the booking process. Here’s a run down of how it all happens:
1.) Once you’ve decided we’re the choir for you, you will be sent a link to fill out a form all about you and your event.
2.) We turn the information you’ve given us in to a contract which gets sent to you, along with a link and log in to our GG Portal where you’ll be able to find your contract and invoices going forward. You’ll be able to sign the contract online.
3.) You’ll also get sent an invoice and payment schedule. Payments can be made by
a) bank transfer
or b) credit card via Stripe
Payments via Stripe incur a small extra fee payable to Stripe for using their service. It’s 1.5% for personal cards or 2.5% for corporate cards. If you would like to pay this way, please let us know so that we can amend your invoice first. Then you can pay with the ‘Pay Now’ link on the invoice.
4.) If your event is within the calendar year, there is a 50/50 payment plan. A 50% deposit (half of which is non refundable), and the final 50% two weeks before your event.
If your event is in the next calendar year, or even further away, it is a 25/25/50 payment plan. 25% deposit to secure the date, a second instalment of 25% on 5th February of the following year and then 50% two weeks before the event.
You can opt to have more instalments if you want to!
You’ll be sent reminders and links to pay in good time before they are due.
You may have a short notice booking e.g. for a funeral. In these instances, we ask for full payment up front.
5.) Around 3 months before your event, you will get a song request form to prompt you to start thinking about finalising your ideas. Feel free to contact us at any point about songs, you don’t have to wait for the official form. You’ll get a reminder in another month and we like to have a set list finalised 45 days before your event.
6.) After your event, we’ll send you a follow up email and a review request - Google reviews really help other clients feel confident in us and as a small business, they make us more visible on searches too!
If you’ve requested we share any footage we have of your event, we will set up a dropbox folder to share that with you.
If you have further questions, you may find them on our FAQs. If not, please drop us a line!
